We provide quality assured basketball coaches for hire to any member of the public or private sector. From large organisations, through to the individual, our coaches provide the very best tuition, covering all levels from absolute beginners through to gifted & talented elite. All R&T coaches come fully qualified, CRB checked and follow a strict code of conduct that ensures the highest levels of service excellence, reliability, punctuality for all our clients.
In addition to England Basketball coaching certification, our coaches are also required to enrol in our own R&T coach education program, which is designed to continually develop and improve our coaches over and above the general expectation. and share a genunie passion for coaching basketball, which shines through all the sessions they deliver. All our coaching sessions are standardised across our provision, ensuring the coaching delivered is consistent, of the highest quality and appropriate to required needs.
Our session plans are progressive, fun-filled and designed to introduce, nurture and develop basketball specific fundamentals both practically and theoretically, while promoting the positive characteristics sports can develop in young people. Goal setting, goal-achieving, team work/co-operation, discipline, dedication and the fundamentals of listening, understanding and applying new information are all strongly fed throughout our sessions. Our sessions also feature a highly effective incentive scheme which rewards young people for participation and positive attitude, as opposed to just performance. This has proven successful in retaining the interest and attention of the young people involved with our programmes and allows us to forge longer term relationships of trust and confidence through our coaches that allow us to build skills in a heightened, more receptive environment.
With strong and easily accessible links to basketball clubs throughout the areas in which we teach, young people who possess talent and ability are fed through to the next stage of development, whether that be supporting them through to National League competition, Community Basketball League competition, or feeding them through to one of our Rising Stars gifted & talented programs. The key is, we aim to work in the best interests of each individual player, to ensure their basketball progression is fully supported and provided for with the right type of coaching and team playing opportunities where appropriate.
