The MM Finals has earned a reputation across Britain as the most anticipated event on the summer hoops calendar. We bring together the top basketball players from across the UK, who go ‘head-to-head’ on our legendary ‘blacked out’ court, in a final test to prove who’s the best. With opportunities of life-changing scholarships and professional contracts on the line, the stakes are high, action exciting and the atmosphere electric!
MM Finals bring all summer competitions to a fantastic finale, with each player on show having earned their spot through the qualification rounds, we battle down to find out who will wear the crown as the number #1 player in Britain. MM winners earn an automatic place on our travel team, represnting the UK against international competition in places such as Los Angeles, New York, Miami, Chicago, Washington, Paris and Milan.[dropcap][/dropcap]The night has also become well known for also delivering the very best in high octane urban entertainment – at a quality level not seen anywhere else in British basketball. Our showcase events have featured world class acts such as Busta Rhymes and Chris Brown alongside the best in homegrown urban music talent. The event has also become internationally known and globally respected for our very own International Slam Dunk Competition which has received mainstream attention as the best of its kind anywhere in the world. [dropcap][/dropcap]The summer finale is also very much about celebrating community and underpins our commitment to providing a pathway and platform for the best from our community to showcase their talents to a wider audience.
Through our showcase, we’ve introduced audiences to previously unknown dance and music acts such as Flawless (‘Britains Got Talent’, Streetdance The Movie) and the incredible Faith SFX, amongst others.
Keeping in line with the community foundations to this event, each year we look to partner with charities and foundations who are working towards positive change, such as the Anthony Nolan Trust, Not Another Drop and Joe White Foundation, helping raise funds and awareness through our reach for their respective causes.
The annual event is a guaranteed ‘roadblock’ every year, so you are advised to get your tickets as soon as they are available to avoid the disappointment of not being able to get in to the UK’s premier summer hoops event.
