Midnight Madness 2005 – Crystal Palace Qualifier

The MM 2005 qualifiers rolled through to Crystal Palace for the first time, with over 1000 people making their way down south to get a dose of the madness.  3 courts of Show & Prove action, followed by the chosen few making it onto the Elite Court to try and play their way into the finals and get one step closer to New York.

A heated night at the Palace (aka The Sauna) saw a young Matthew Bryan-Amaning put the wheels in motion for what would develop into a MM legendary career, while Manchester’s Stefan Gill made it down to London to show and prove he belongs at the top of your ‘top young guards in ’05’ list.  Other notable performances on the night: Laurant Irish, a young Karolis Stepanvicius, Benji Lawmann, Leigh Cascoe and future GB point guard Justin Robinson.
